Richard Webb is a highly sought-after analyst, consultant, writer and speaker who has been covering telecom markets for 13 years, including WiMAX since shortly after its inception in 2001, making him one of the industry’s foremost WiMAX experts. As a directing analyst with Infonetics Research, Richard authors and co-authors numerous market share and forecast reports, service provider surveys, and Continuous Research Service (CRS) opinion pieces on WiMAX, LTE, 4G, mobile broadband, FMC, microwave, mobile backhaul, and phones and devices (mobile, FMC, WiFi, smartphones).
An influential thought leader, Richard contributes to and is regularly quoted in trade magazines, business and financial press, dailies, and blogs, including Financial Times, Fox News, The Industry Standard, Network World, New York Times, Total Telecom, Unstrung, and Wireless Week. Prior to joining Infonetics in 2001, Richard worked with PBI Media, where he developed the program content for a series of telecom conferences in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Previously, he was a conference director with events producer Terrapinn in London.
Richard graduated with honors from the University of Gloucestershire in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. He is based in London.
