Philosophy. At Infonetics, we know the importance of privacy. The cornerstones of Infonetics’ privacy policy are our principles of accountability to you and respect of your private information. Our approach to data collection and use is based on informed consent from you and proper secure storage by us. We work to ensure your data is safeguarded. We strive to ensure that all personal information collected is accurate; you must help us with this goal. We strive to use such information only in a responsible and respectful matter; we do not share such information with third parties unless you agree for us to do so. Otherwise, the only time we will give your information away is if we are required to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request.

Scope. The following policy sets forth how Infonetics Research Incorporated ("Infonetics") collects, uses and, if applicable, discloses the ‘personal information’ about users of Infonetics services (collectively “you”) that Infonetics collects on this website (“Collected Information”). Personal information means information which directly identifies you, like your name and email address, and any information that falls outside of this is non-personal information. This policy applies to all personal information collected by Infonetics on Infonetics’ websites, through Infonetics’ day to day business operations and via any web sites related to Infonetics business operations and the services Infonetics provides (collectively the “Infonetics Services”) to you.

Information Collected by Infonetics.
During your registration with Infonetics, your participation in an Infonetics event, and your participation in any Infonetics’ survey, Infonetics collects the information you provide. When you sign on as an Infonetics customer, you will select or will be assigned a user name and password, all of which are used to identify you when you are using Infonetics Services.

Use of Collected Information

Use of Information Collected in Surveys. If you opt to complete an Infonetics survey, you and your company remain anonymous in resulting reports that we share with Infonetics Services users. Infonetics does not reveal the identity of the respondent or respondent company in its reports. Instead, Infonetics uses information provided by survey respondents only in the aggregate.

Use of Information Collected in Event Registration. Infonetics may, at its discretion, offer you access to services, reports or events offered or sponsored by Infonetics or trusted business associates (each a “Sponsor”). If you choose to register for any such service, report or event, you will be asked during such registration process to agree that Infonetics may share your registration information with the Sponsor of the event for which you registered and we may put you in direct contact with such Sponsor.

From time to time, Infonetics retains the services of certain third-party agents, vendors, service providers, and consultants, such as Internet Service Providers and payment processors.
